The core facts
- Design and implement machine learning models with a focus on operational deployment and scalability.
- Work within the Databricks platform to create robust data pipelines and machine learning workflows.
- Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for model deployment and management.
- Integrate and adapt Large Language Models and Generative AI tools to enhance operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Monitor, analyze, and operate machine learning models in production.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in machine learning operations (MLOps) and related technologies.
Your core competences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering with a focus on operations.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Databricks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent knowledge of English; German is appreciated but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Certifications in Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, or related technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications in a distributed environment.
- Experience with cloud services and architectures.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models and Generative AI tools and their application in a business context.
- A track record of successful collaboration in a multinational team environment.
