About the job

Working with us, you will have the opportunity to co-create one of our applications in the financial sector. The team operates in a scaled environment and uses on cloud solutions (AWS). The team works in an international environment, applying modern practices (including BDD, DDD with microservices, CI/CD, shift left approach) and maintains a friendly atmosphere while implementing high work standards and optimizing its activities. We aim to strengthen our competencies in ensuring solution quality, focusing on individuals with high energy for action and skill development.

The core facts

  • Designing manual and automated test scenarios (in collaboration with analysts and developers)
  • Performing manual tests for changes implemented during the sprint, as well as during acceptance and regression testing
  • Maintaining and creating quality standards – monitoring and analyzing key indicators (e.g. error response time) and collaborating with the team to maintain expected service parameters
  • Supporting the team in improving the testing process, implementing new tools and work standards (BDD, SBE, shift left approach)
  • Ongoing communication with the client in English to clarify doubts, report and diagnose issues, and participate in demos/presentations of new functionalities
  • Responding to emerging issues in the application (analysis, reporting, collaboration in resolution)
  • Participating in production release planning (including planning and executing tests, as well as coordinating and communicating tasks)
  • Reporting test results and task progress
  • Training users and participating in documentation creation when required

Your core compenetencies

  • Proactivity and taking responsibility
  • Experience in manual tests – we value real skills and commit
  • mentKnowledge of testing standards and best practices (ISTQB, test pyramid, defect lifecycle, etc)
  • Organized work approach, compliant with established processes
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to learn test automation
  • Hands on knowledge of test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, Confluence)
  • Experience or interest in working with BDD/TDD approaches
  • English language on B2/C1 level
  • Communication skills and team work
  • Understanding of web applications with Frontend and microservices on the Backend
  • Familiarity with concepts or testing of synchronous integrations (REST API) and asynchronous integrations (Kafka)
  • You are based in Poland and are eligible to work in Poland (we do not support reloaction or work permit/visa process atm)

  • We start work between 7:00 , and 11:00.
  • After the pandemic, we operate on a hybrid basis.
  • The obligatory model is a minimum of one day a week in the office, but the decision to be on site is taken by the project teams together with their managers.

  • Our office is located in the Koneser Praga Centre in Warsaw's Praga district. In the 19th century, the famous vodka factory "Koneser" was located here.
  • On site you will find restaurants, bars, cafes, a fitness club, medical centers, a modern hotel, art galleries and museums.
  • Our office, like the entire complex, is eco positive and has been awarded the Breem Excellent certificate. 
  • We have a private terrace at our disposal.
  • On a daily basis we segregate waste, save water and light, and in the summer season we take care of the meadow on the terrace. 
  • Every employee has a perfectly fitted and adjustable desk, ergonomic chairs and a comfortable locker.
  • Since we meet on an ad-hoc basis, we have ensured that sudden meetings do not create problems. Our office has a smart and mobile space that we adapt to current needs.
