We are seeking a Power BI Engineer to develop and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards by integrating diverse data sources, designing robust data models, and ensuring effective data visualization and performance.
The core facts
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize data effectively
- Integrate data from various sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis
- Design and develop data models to support reporting and analysis needs
- Ensure optimal performance of Power BI reports and dashboards
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Automate data refreshes and report updates to ensure timely information
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Power BI-related issues
Your core competencies
- Proficiency in creating and managing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
- Ability to approach problems methodically and develop structured solutions
- Solid understanding of Groovy scripting language and its applications
- Experience with database management and optimization
- Experience with Databricks platform for big data processing and analytics
- Familiarity with APEX (Application Express) for developing data-driven applications
