About the Job
We are looking for a architect with extensive experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integrations for further rollouts in remaining banks and to ensure seamless operations.The Retail Customer Engagement Tribe is developing a platform that modernizes the entire CRM business for retail customers within RBI and provides state-of-the-art tools.
The core facts
- Solution Design: Design end-to-end solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions
- Integration Strategy: Define and implement integration strategies, ensuring seamless data flow between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or other technologies
- Customization and Configuration: Guide and oversee the customization and configuration of Salesforce applications, including the use of Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that solutions meet RBI security and compliance standards, implementing necessary access controls, encryption, and other security measures
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency, performance and coherence across platforms
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to ensure high responsiveness and efficiency of Salesforce applications
- System Upgrades and Patches: Manage and oversee system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices during deployment
- Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors and consultants to integrate and extend functionalities within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Cloud and DevOps Practices: Implement and advocate for cloud and DevOps best practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
Your core competencies
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong expertise in Salesforce data modelling, architecture design, and system integration with cloud solutions
- Expertise in integrating and leveraging AWS services for data storage, compute, and security
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring development teams
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization
- Background in the financial industry
- Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., Apache Kafka or Pulsar)
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce System-, Technical-, Integration Architect) are highly preferred
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
